Cardiac Crash 2026
Cardiac Crash – a team building approach
Did you know:
Cardiac arrest can occur at any moment, and being prepared to respond can make difference between life and death.
Fact:
Less than 50% of people who have a cardiac arrest at home or in the community receive CPR from a bystander and less than 12% are defibrillated (using an AED) by a bystander.
Objective:
Our two interactive programs, Cardiac Crash Monica for workplaces and Cardiac Crash Chantel for schools, help individuals overcome their fears and misconceptions about performing bystander CPR and using an AED.
Fact:
People having cardiac arrest in the community are not receiving timely CPR
and defibrillation from an AED that gives them the best possible chance of survival.
Objective:
This made in Canada experience helps to foster skills and boost confidence, empowering participants to take action in an emergency, overcoming their fear and reluctance to start CPR whether assisting a stranger or someone they know.
Fact:
Immediate action from bystanders who perform CPR and use an AED more than doubles a person’s chance of survival.
The participants will learn through:
-
a dramatic, interactive presentation that takes them through an emotional, true-to life cardiac arrest situation
-
hands-on practice in a team-based, gamified environment
-
facilitator supported discussion and exploration
